Welcome to 4th grade!

We use the Wonders curriculum to direct reading and writing instruction. English Language Arts (ELA) compiles: reading to understand using the Restate, Answer, Cite, and Explain (R.A.C.E) and the characteristics of an opinion, narrative, and research piece.  We use Mountain Language to supplement the ELA curriculum. Math instruction consists of a curriculum from iReady. We use Mountain Math to supplement the iReady curriculum. In fourth grade we focus on Idaho history in Social Studies throughout the year. We utilize Core Knowledge and hands-on learning in Science.
