Lottery Process:  The Idaho Legislature established the lottery process for charter school admission in Idaho Code Statute 33-5205. Please review this state statute for details regarding the lottery process. As a brief overview, all applicants are placed into grade-level-specific 'Lottery Priority Groups' as follows:

Second Priority: Siblings of students already attending Idaho Arts Charter and children of full-time employees of Idaho Arts Charter School are grouped in the second priority lottery.
Third Priority: Applicants that reside within Idaho Arts Charter’s primary area of attendance (Nampa School District) are grouped. A third lottery is conducted among these students.

Students that do not secure placement during the lottery will be placed on the waiting list and will be contacted if a space becomes available.

Waiting List:  Students not selected for placement will be placed on a waiting list by grade. The waiting lists will be posted on our school website within 3 weeks after the lottery date
